Next time you package some of your home made goodies for your family or friends, present them in an aluminum container with a decorative cardboard lid.

Use a heavy card stock type of cardboard.  Cut the cardboard to the size of the opening and add a pretty bow.  It’s that easy.

There are so many options and colors of cardboard in craft or art stores.  Be sure to look in the scrapbooking and card making aisles.

If you are lucky enough to have a paper, stationary or invitation store near you they usually have beautiful, quality single sheets available.

I found several colored prints from Paper Trails in Cleveland, Ohio.  You can also shop Archivers, Pat Catan’s, and Michael’s Craft Store.

These reusable containers are easy to transport and are pretty enough to be presented as a gift.

Keep this idea in mind for different holidays and seasons.

When you need to make several dozen cookies for a cookie exchange, this is a lovely, impressive, yet inexpensive presentation for each dozen you give away.
